Great Travel Posts Round-Up
One of the great things about being plugged in here on the Trekalong network is that it gives you instant access to some of the coolest authors, editors and marketing folks from Menasha Ridge Press, Wilderness Press and Clerisy Press. Here are some links that popped up on our network of travel blogs over the last week:
1. Tony Padegimas, author of a great book on hikes in the Tonto National Forest, took the time to share recent changes to camping restrictions and the re-opening of some Arizona campgrounds (after bear attacks this year). All very valuable information to Arizona hikers and campers.
2. Over on Keen is Green, Kara shares a quick list of new wallet-friendly, hiker-friendly and environmentally-friendly meals.
3. Here is a helpful post on some of the Northeast’s best trails for seeing leaves this Fall. Rachel also shares some quick thoughts on each trail and the best time to get out there and hike. Please share links to any photos you take while out hiking! It is amazing what the trees and leaves can do this time of year.
