I use this sort of hammock all the time (I actually use a Byer Mosquito Traveler, which I picked up for $40.) If you actually want to camp in it, you’ll need a rain tarp as well. (One of the reasons I use my Byer instead of my Hammock Bliss is that it fits under my rain tarp.)

Great article! I like your instruction to set the hammck up before drinking. That seems like a smart piece of advice! The Byer looks like a great deal. I haven’t slept in mine yet, but it might be nice during the hotter summer nights.
